Exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Breda as a first presentation of the collection
Exhibition Princenhage, august 2020
To celebrate my 70th birthday and the fact that I have been painting for 45 years, the Princenhaags Museum asked me to do this exhibition. I'm going to do it in dialogue with two 19th century masters: Paul Cézanne and Vincent van Gogh. An exhibition under the sign of two mountains in France:
-The Alpilles in the background of Van Gogh's landscapes.

With the Van Gogh artist-in-residence program, the Vincent van GoghHuis in Zundert wants to follow Vincent’s dream of “the studio of the South”.
Organisation
The guest studio, idyllically situated on the grounds of the Protestant church where Vincent’s father preached, with the sexton’s house and the vegetable garden, offers contemporary artists the opportunity to work in peace for a while. What the guests have in common is that they are inspired in one way or another by the life and work of Vincent van Gogh.

Painting on the theme of Montagne Sainte Victoire
In 2019 I've been drawing twice during several weeks on the Montagne Sainte Victoire near Aix en Provence (F) the mountain that became famous in art historie because of the paintings of Cézanne.

In 2017 I was asked to do a mural. Theme: Haagse Dijk 5x10 mtr.
Exhibition at the Grote Kerk Breda because of 40 years of painting 2016
In collaboration with the sculptur Dick Fluitsma. 405x450 mtr. New presentation in 2017
In June as well in September 2015 I was working on the coasts of Normandië and Bretagne. Many new Pastels have been born and they have led to new Oilpaintings in my studio the following winter.
March 2014 I was invited to paint 4 big murals (5x12 mtr each) in a botanic greenhouse for the Emir of Kuwait.

---Because of a very serious disease I had to cancel this challenging project.
